what should i be for halloween?

tonight i am lucky enough to be seeing a band known as Taking Back Sunday. let’s take it back about 7 years ago… i was in my young, awkward middle school years and i came across a song on myspace (yes, myspace) called “makedamnsure”. after listening to it, i pressed repeat… and then i pressed repeat again about 12 times after that. i had never before heard lyrics sung with so much passion that i was brought to tears until listening through their various albums. they were the reason i even fell in love with the alternative genre in the first place. when they broke up, i was devastated. i kicked myself so many times thinking that i had so many chances to see them, but never actually did. tonight, though, i am one of the happiest people in the world. because tonight, the original line-up from the ‘tell all your friends’ album is back together. tonight, i will be standing on the side of a stage (courtesy of the maine) and watching taking back sunday live. in person. in complete raw reality. i am ecstatic.
